Featured in "Photographers fr. Around the World," 7/2012. Sunset at Copano Bay Bridge. While walking out toward the end for a night of fishing, captured this beautiful sunset. There is a blue heron on the railing to the left. Pic taken 3/22/12.

Nice shot and so interesting to see now that they have built a new causeway - the new one is adjacent to the one on the left. The one in the center will be demolished when the new one is completed next year. One of my favorite spots to fish!

Hi Sue, Sorry I missed this. Yes, I believe we saw them starting to build the new one around 2012. We would walk out in the evening to fish, about half way. Had gone to the end, must have been a mile and phew packing all your gear. Beautiful evenings, quiet and fish were caught. In the area, caught Red Drum and Black Drum. Too bad they are removing the old pier........
