Artist's Description
Route 66 Ummm rock lickin. Picture taken Nov 20, 2013, in the Ghost Town of Oatman, Arizona. This little donkey seems to be enjoying, whatever flavor the rock has to offer. "Asinus" is the burro's scientific name, suggesting a certain assiness to the burro hints at a further truth. That is burros, asses and even donkeys are pretty much the same thing. they are all Equus asinus. Featured in "Wildlife One a Day, 1/12/14, Arizona Images - For Sale 1/12/14."
