Rusty, Blind and Deaf Extroadinaire, Black and White. I baby sat Rustie last Sept/Oct 2015. He was also 18 years old. Although, not a cat person, Rustie and I did get along famously, along with my little dog Okie. It was amazing to watch how he maneuvered thruout his home, without any problems. I do love animals and he was an absolute joy to be with. The owners had forwarded a message to me thru my son, that when they came home, Rustie for 3 days meowwwwww and went around the house looking for me, not acknowledging them. For that short period of time, we did become attached. Just recently I was informed that Rustie passed away, sometime end of Feb. 2016, curled up on their bed with them when they awoke one morning. Another dear friend has passed, goodby sweet Rustie..............

Antonia, I lost my Maine Coon (Rocky) over a year ago after having his companionship for 19 years. I was touched by your story and can readily empathize with your sense of loss. Thanks for sharing your experience. /Fav
